Christian churches around the world have celebrated the Lord’s Supper in a show of solidarity on the first Sunday of October for decades. This is a time for a season of peace and unity. Also that Sunday, October 7, we will receive the Peacemaking Offering of our Presbyterian denomination.
Sunday, December 16, the Christmas Joy Offering will be received during the morning worship service. This offering has been given for decades to assist two Presbyterian missions. Over $4 million was given last year to the Board of Pension’s Income and Housing Supplement Programs and to Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges.
