What we do
Bethany is deeply committed to growing in faith and sharing the love of Christ by working toward peace and social justice in our world.  We invite you to join us.

We grow in faith through worship, Bible study, discussing current events, books and movies, and by spending time eating together and praying together.  You can learn more about our Christian education here.

We share Christ's love in our daily lives and in mission work as a church.  Some examples are:

  • Nativity House - On the second Sunday of each month, a group cooks and serves soup at Nativity House, a drop-in center for the homeless.

  • FISH Food Bank - Bethany is one of six north-end churches that host the Northwest FISH Food Bank at Mason Methodist Church.  The food bank is open every Wednesday and Saturday, Noon to 4pm.  Volunteers are always welcome.

  • The Fair Trade Christmas Market offers a less-commercial way to celebrate Christmas. Fair Trade and non-material gifts are offered.

If you'd like more information about any of these or want to know how to get involved, contact Pastor Sarah.
